No resolutions just solutions!

There are several of you that have bought into the methodology of resolutions, however when you look at that word closely you will see RE solutions. I understand the practice of etymology. However, when you put the Re in front of that word it makes me think of finding the solution again. How many of us this year are looking for some of the same solutions we had last year? It is not hard, be honest, we knew what the solution was last year, we just didn't do it. When we understand we are under construction we can commit to the solution found in the building process.

A builder knows what needs to be done to complete the house, he just has to follow the blueprint. If the building isn't completed its because someone didn't follow the blueprint. The issue with us is usually our failure to activate the promise that is inside Gods blueprint! We generally know what we need to do, but we fail to step up to the plate and as Nike would say, "Just do it!" So I want to encourage you this year to write down 5 solutions to problems and distractions that have taken you away from God's best plan for your life. Put a time stamp on it. Don’t give up until you reach what God has called you to do. Tell yourself this is not a resolution, this is a commitment to the solution. The solution brings wisdom to grow through any season. Proverbs 15:24 says "The path of life leads upward for the wise." That means each year, (no matter how bad) is a good year, because I grow in wisdom.

Do not give up on your dreams; no matter how many times you failed, commit to your solution. Do not give up on the book, provide the solution and write. Do not give up on the Degree, search for the solution. I know you can do it!

Dont miss this Sunday as we continue the discussion of Under Construction.
