Summers are made for fun and this summer promises to be awesome at the The Love Community. We have eight weeks of fulfilled activities from volunteer activities, childcare to worship it will be an awesome time. The ultimate Summer Kick Off June 3, 2018 11:00am at True Love Church will be awesome. Enjoy performances by our youth, as well as fun, food, and fellowship. Come join us as we pray over youth and wish them good success this summer.
Week One
June 4-8 is Wet, Wild N' Wacky week. With a field trip to Lents family Park Splash Pad, water balloon fights, Crazy hair day, and more, our campers will definitely experience a fun and wacky week!
Week Two
June 11-15 is Hollywood week. Grab your popcorn and get ready for a movie! Our campers will feel famous for a week after making their own Hollywood Star, acting out plays, and putting on a talent show for friends and family. We will end our week with a trip to Showbiz Cinema for the premier of Incredibles 2!
Week Three
June 18-22 is Nature week. Pack some bug spray and join us at Duessen Park for Discovery Camp. Hikes through the woods, scavenger hunts, and building our own bird houses are just a few of the things we have planned.
Week Four
June 25-29 Put on your cape and fly on over to have some super powered fun! The Children's Museum Of Houston is where we'll be. What's your super power? We'll help you discover what it is this week. And don't worry, if you don't have a mask we'll make it, along with other super arts and crafts.
Week Five
July 2-6 We're the 4th of July with all things red, white and blue ! From decorating cupcakes to making patriotic slime. We will have a bbq picnic at the park with games, and music to celebrate our independence!
Week Six
July 9-12 Run here as fast as you can for sports week! Compete against other campers in a game of soccer at the park for our first field trip of the week, and then roll on in to the skating rink for field trip number two ! Can you create your own sport? Whose your favorite athlete? This week is all about sports!
Week Seven
July 16-20 Have a holly jolly Christmas in July ! Yes, thats right. Christmas in July ! From A real snow ball fight, and Christmas caroling, cookie decorating, and a field trip to Miller Outdoor Theater to see a Santa play, our campers will definitely feel the Christmas spirit!
Week Eight
July 23-27 is animal week ! A traveling naturalist will be visiting our camp to introduce our campers to a variety of animals and teach us about the food web! We'll be able to touch and feel them. Don't be afraid, they don't bite ! We'll focus on all things animals and end our week with a field trip to Old Mcdonalds farm!
