Day 8 Can you see?

A few years ago I woke up in the middle of the night and tried to read a text message on my phone and realized that the letters were blurry. I immediately assumed that it was because my eyes were still tired and need time to focus. However, when I went to get up in the middle of the night a few nights later I hit my leg on the side of the bed. At that moment I called my Optometrist and after he administered a refraction test he said, “Your eyes aren’t tired, you need glasses because you can't see correctly.” Once I put the CORRECTIVE lens on I could see so much better. No headaches or eye pain. When we see God for who he is he takes the missteps and blurry situations away and it gives us clarity of purpose. The message bible puts it this way Proverbs 29:18 The Message (MSG) 18 If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

Can you see what God is doing around you right now? Have you identified your core values, and what you are passionate about? Who you are is what drives you into your success or failure. At the heart of your success or your failure is an abundance or lack of vision. Vision keeps us from stumbling trough our lives but helping us see through the lens of God. This vertical optical alignment puts us on the path of fulfilling the potential we have rooted deep down inside of us. Potential is the thing that stimulates our hope but potential has no teeth without vision. In other words, vision makes potential make sense. Vision gives clarity to all our efforts and allows us to hold onto certain principles to obtain wisdom.

You may be saying I see what God is doing in me. However, the in between stage gives problems because the manifestations of blessing hasn’t happened yet! Check to make sure you are on course by writing down what you see God doing through you in your lifetime. And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. Habakkuk 2:2 In order to run I believe its necessary to understand your why so you can get excited about your vision. Be specific about the direction you want your life to go in. Following the specifics opens us up to the design of heaven’s human manufacturer- God. God’s design is for us to open ourselves up to hear his voice. We receive vision that not only helps us get past our previous mistakes but our present circumstances as well. Our future looks brighter so we begin to tell people about the prospects and forces us to get excited over the direction we are going. What do you see God doing in your life in the next 3-5 months? Who will be blessed the most by what God is showing you?
